One of the bands in the Save Elthorne Concert, the
Yodelling Aardvarkz, went on as The Aardvarkz to reach
the South-east final of the TSB Rock School Competition in 1984. This
was an important part of the morale raising that Kept Elthorne High in
its last years. Two of the band members (Gary and Mark Pietronave),
with later additions, became quite successful with the band in later
years (as The Aardvarks).

Another performer was Tadeusz (Peter)
Matuchniak, and he too has been quite successful musically.
