Our walks for 2024 are, as usual, on Saturdays on the dates below.

Walks are £5 per head, free for those who give regularly to their Church.

April 6th

Wooden Tops

We walk from Cockfosters following the London LOOP through the woodlands of the ‘Northern Heights’ to end at High Barnet. Meet at Cockfosters station at 11am, 4¼ miles. Quite a hilly walk with 415' up hill and 384' down.

May 25th

Far Thing

We meet at Farringdon station on southbound Thameslink platform at 11:10am to travel together to Coulsdon South - exact time will be confirmed nearer the day when train times are published. We walk from there across hills to Caterham. 5 miles, 524’ up, 298’ down

June 29th

Just a Walk in the Park(s)

Today we stroll across London’s Royal Parks visiting St James’s Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and end at Paddington. We meet at St James’s Park station at 11:30 am . 4½ miles, 174’ up, 153’ down

September 7th

Chiltern Climbs

This month we return to the Chiltern Hills for another walk in “MetroLand”, a loop from Amersham station (meet there at 11am). It’s the longest planned walk this year and there are lots of up (and down) hill bits.

October 5th

Port and Lemons

We walk along the Grand Union Canal to Brentford, through Syon Park and by the Thames to Richmond, with mostly well made paths all the way. Meet at Boston Manor station at 11:30am 5 miles, 45’ up, 97’ down

November 2nd

Hillingdon Trail

We walk part of the Hillingdon Trail which stretches north to south across this west London Borough. Meet at Ickenham station at 11am for our walk to Southall. 6¼ miles, 113’ up, 146’ down
